Burning Night - the art of negative burning

Most pyrography is formed by burning dark images on a lighter background. (Positive burning). Negative burning is the opposite of positive. The image in negative burning is formed by revealing the blond timber beneath dark burning. The results can range from high realism to sharply contrasting...in either case the smoky sepia qualities are unique and very eye catching. This snippet explains the difference between positive and negative pyrography and previews a DVD pyrography workshop called, 'Burning Night'.
